Pedra Branca
A left from the reef north of Ericeira. Works better with swells from the South/South-West, sustaining big waves if the swell direction is perfect. The bottom is a rock platform with large holes and the swell originates from deep waters and forms rapid and forceful crests. It looks beautiful, and on good days even seems like a Pipeline, with waves of 1 to 3 metres (3 - 10 feet). Low tide is suicide.
